New Uniforms

New Uniforms

Well we finally got our desert uniforms! I guess this means I need to go to the desert sometime so I can blend in. They are actually lighter and more comfortable the the BDU's that we have been wearing. I will have more exciting pictures soon as we will be starting to do training on Wednesday. Sitting in the room all day just didnt lend itself to exciting photos. As you may have noticed just about every photo of the guys in my unit show them doing what we do most of the time....play on our computers. This will change soon and we will all be glad to get home at night and take off the body armor and go to sleep. Today we are packing up for our move tomorrow. This will be the 7th place I have stayed in for at least a week since the begining of June. We will be here for a couple of months before leaving for "somewhere". I hope everyone is doing well. I think about you often and will look forward to seeing you towards the end of 2006.

I'm happy for you that things are finally starting to happen. No more sitting around for you. In a few months you're going to miss that! :)

"Do you have something is a low-rise, mesh, bikini if possible?"
"Chicks in New York are paying top dollar for this garbage". I'll send you all of my Marine Corp crap that they never took back. Lauren starts 5th grade tomorrow... you should feel old. Take care, Rick.

Sanchez, is that body armor underneath that uniform, or is the Army helping you hide your fat ass? Actually, you are probably as cut as you were when you worked Free Birds and wore your hair like a girl. No more of that hairstyle for you, Private.

Do they let you fire weapons? And do any of those big-wig officers ask "why are we moving?" when you are driving them around?

I hope the camo works better than it is now. I can still see you.
