Death by Powerpoint
Well it seems that if we are not busting our humps in full battle rattle we are sitting through hour after hour of powerpoint presentations. The person that introduced powerpoint to the army needs to be shot! Life for me has been kind of slow this week as I have been laid up with some minor foot problems and then I managed to get a sinus infection coupled with a respitory infection. It is a slow week for us with no mandatory training so it was good timing at least. I have a small pharmacy now and I feel much better. We have a medical unit that we are training with so I have lots of doc's and medics checking up on me. Since I have been out of commission I dont have much new to offer. Next week the training will be mounted land navigation and weapons qualification. It could be worse I could be in New Orleans.

Actually Vito they have resurected an old nickname from my past. Shake-n-Bake seems to be the chosen name.

Just wanted to let you know I am on 3 lists to be deployed to New Orleans. Either LifeFlight, K.C. Fire Dept. or St. Luke's Hospital. I could go this week or next month. I'll keep you posted. Looks like at least 3 weeks on site. You know me, I want to be there yesterday. Take care,
