Well its been a few days since I have been able to get on line so thats why no blog entry. Yesterday some of us did drivers training to get licensed to drive the Humvee. Fortunately our instructer was from the old school who actually thought that the best way to teach was not by powerpoint but by actually driving. We went out in the dessert and went offroading to learn the capabilities of the humvee. We learned a few things it CAN'T do! We only destroyed one tire and high centered another. My buddy Tamayo destoyed the tire and then I had to back it onto the recovery vehicle. I have some video that shows just how tight a fit it was. Because the front tire was blown I had to back it onto the trailer. The trailer was about a foot higher then the berm we were on so I had to gun it and power onto the flatbed. I was a little nervous to say the least as I looked down and saw my tires hanging over the edge. All things considered though it was alot of fun. It sure beat sitting in the barracks.
