sand storm
This photo was taken a couple of days ago on a day that saw us going back and forth between sandstorms and thunderstorms. While we do not see the massive wall of sand that you see out in the desert we do get this otherwordly look when we get sandstorms. It looks like something from a movie set on Mars.
The last week or so offers nothing substantial to write about but I will run it down for you anyway. Lets see...some convoys came in and some convoys left, dito for planes, we had some sandstorms and rain, and we have had a couple of mortar attacks. We have not had any deaths so all in all it has been a good week.
Marissa and Grant are back from Portland. They had a good time there but i think it was tough for Marissa to be there because it reminded her of all the things we used to do together. Grant had fun with the family and more then anything he enjoyed being the center of attention. He is pretty adament about that being the way things should be. I know that grandma and grandpa and his uncles enjoyed seing him very much. He is quite the charmer when he wants to be. They are home now and I know that mom is glad to have them back. I am sure that a house can seem empty without the tornado of activity that accompanies a toddler. Well as you can see there is not much going on so I will wrap this up. I hope everyone is doing well and as I continue to work the graveyard shift I am more grateful then ever to Kathy and Bear for the constant flow of Pete's coffee. Thank YOU!!!

I am still working on the last batch....its very good! It seems to run anywhere from 5 to 10 days. It gets here pretty quick actually. I hope you are getting frequent buyer discounts or stock options for your purchases. We all appreciate it very much. Thank you very much for your constant love and support.
