Taste of home

Life here continues on with nothing new to comment on really. We have had some busy nights which is nice because it helps the time go by faster. It is still wierd for me to work nights. My body has adjusted but my brain hasnt...it just doesnt feel right to end my day in sunlight. It also screws with your concept of tomorrow and makes it harder to figure out whats going on back home. I have been used to the routine of knowing that I was starting my day at the end of marissa's and that she would be waking up at the end of my day. My new schedule throws that all off. I think if I had started on nights it wouldnt be a big deal.

As you can tell there is not much going on here in Iraq. Marissa and Grant are having a good time in Portland after grant got over the travel. I am sure that Grant will enjoy having lots of people making him the center of attention. He is like his daddy and loves people...it doesnt matter if they are family members or not. Thats my boy!
